I really love how this turned out! The lines on this print are very clean and the composition is very balanced. I also like the colors you chose and the way you kept the color palette earthy. One thing you could try next time would be incorporating some more positive negative, carving out more of the empty space and playing around with the thickness of your line work.

I really like that you decided to present this piece as a small series. A quote from Edward Tufte comes to mind (paraphrased) A small series allows the eye to compare between compositions and find common patterns and at the same time subtle differences. I think that helps visually support your written narrative of exploration. I'd be interested to see this series 'grow' as you feel out ideal techniques. well done!

I think the piece is a successful exploration of simplifying objects down to their elemental lines. The piece is able to create a sense of depth through subtle paint strokes that accompany the elemental lines. I agree with Ruth about trying to experiment with other colours. I also see that the "o" in Honey has a lighter font weight and is reminiscent of honeys actual form. Maybe an avenue to explore is mixing type / words with their simple line forms.
