In copying their work, I copied all the objects that I considered iconic, and I found that all of their brush strokes were a high level summary of a single body of the creature, formed in one stroke by the skill of the grip, and including the tree, the variation of thickness and strength in one stroke created the natural variation of the trunk. In the case of the mountains, the darker side is also used to highlight the changing trend of the mountains. The colours used in all the works are few and far between, and the choice of green foliage is very important when depicting the highly saturated red flowers, so I have studied and analysed the colours. I found that basically all the ink paintings use a lot of grey, with the brighter colours being more of an accent. I believe that colours that need to give a sense of tranquillity are also not to be used too much in highly saturated colours. And this high level of encapsulation of complex things into a simple but detailed stroke also reflects the Taoist idea, unique to Chinese ink painting, that all things can be brought to one.
